[EN] Every day is a new adventure and we never know what is going to happen. We left with a little rain that soon became a blue sky, little did we know what was expecting us! We had just come down from Castets-en-Dorthe and we were standing on the bridge over river Garonne taking some pictures when a lovely lady approached us. After a little chat and after we explained what we were doing, she invited us to visit her boat that was just a few meters away from the bridge. A boat full of bikes! We were amazed.

Pascale, that manages Aquitaine Cruises, told us that they visit the famous Bourdeaux vineyards by bike and that the stays are on the boats that travel through the river Garonne, a concept that we found super interesting and we absolutely recommend this different idea to whoever needs a suggestion of what to do during the holidays. The lunch, also with the company of the boat’s commander, was spent talking about both projects, ours and theirs, a sharing of ideas we won’t forget! Thank you to Pascale and all the others on board for sharing a little bit of your time with us and for all the smiles!

[EN] Vineyards on the right, vineyards on the left, vineyards everywhere! That was the landscape for the rest of the day. We arrived in the end of the day with the sun setting and the twilight above Castillon-de-la-Batalle, where we re-charged our batteries for the next day!
