[PT] Entrar no Báltico foi uma espécie de “salto para o desconhecido”, não sabíamos nada da Estónia, nem da Letónia nem mesmo da Lituânia, apenas rumores quase sempre nada abonadores. A tandem entrou em Tallinn que estava com ambiente de festa.

[EN] Entering the Baltic countries was like jumping into the unknown. We did not know much about Estonia, Latvia or even Lithuania, just things that people told us about these countries that were almost always wrong. The tandem arrived in Tallinn and we could feel a welcoming environment.

[PT] Mas a Estónia estava a surpreender-nos pela sua beleza natural.

[EN] But what Estonia was surprising for was the natural beauty.

[PT] Por vezes damos por nós a pedalar dentro de bosques tão grandes e intensos que ficamos com a sensação de nos termos perdido.

[EN] Sometimes we find ourselves in woods so big and intense that we get the feeling we got lost.

[PT] Hoje depois de um longo e estreito caminho de terra carregado de tons verdes onde só se ouviam os pássaros e alguns amimais terminámos o dia num isolado mas tranquilo alojamento situado num imenso bosque.

[EN] Today after a long and narrow dirt road with green all around, where we could only listen to the birds ans some other animals, we finished our day in a calm and isolated place in the middle of the woods.

[PT] Mais uma vez aqui só se fala russo ou Estonio. Pudemos comer um belíssimo salmão pescado ali mesmo.

[EN] Once again, the people could only speak Estonian or Russian. We could still communicate and we had a delicious salmon for dinner, fished in their own lake.
